Clairwood Real Estate Corporation is Collingwood's "Boutique" Brokerage. Our office is located in the heart of downtown Collingwood at 13 Hurontario St., next door to Tweed & Hickory & across from Loblaws. Maureen Gowans, Broker of Record, has a 30+ year history in the real estate industry. With her main office located at Yonge and St. Clair in Toronto , Maureen had been considering expanding to the Georgian Triangle area. Clairwood is a member of the Toronto Real Estate Board and the Georgian Triangle Real Estate Board.

In 2004 Maureen forged a relationship with Sherry Rioux while working as Sales Representatives for Admirals Gate, an upscale waterfront condominium project. After realizing that they made a great team and that Collingwood was growing at a rapid pace and needed a Brokerage that could concentrate on high end homes, Maureen decided to open the Collingwood Branch of Clairwood Real Estate Corporation. Together they worked to create a unique concept in real estate brokerages, by opening an office in the Admirals Gate Sales Office after obtaining an Agreement to be the exclusive agents for the project.

It did not take long for Clairwood to become known in the area. After the first month of business, it was apparent that expansion was on the horizon and now several Sales Representatives have joined the team .
